Member Initiations and Promotions

•Performed on an as needed basis.

•Initiations conducted on the spot, bringing the character into the Hildrim immediately.

•Member promotions will be conducted at one of the outposts, specific for each race: Amon Anwar (Men), Ost-in-edhil ruins (Elves), Woodhall (Hobbits), the Carrock (Dwarves). Until expansions open Amon Anwar and the Carrock, substitution outposts will be used.

•Ordination of Elders are performed at the Kinship Home.

•Participants are required to attend, and all members of are encouraged to attend Member promotions. Only the Leadership Council (Leader, Heir, Elders) are able to attend Elder ordinations.

Tavern Time

•Performed on a regular (bi-weekly basis).

•Locations open to change, and can be conducted in a number of locations.

•All members online are encouraged to attend, but by no means required

•Members socialize over ale and wine - getting to know each other and talk about quests, characters and NPCs in an IC setting.

•Depending on the location of tavern time, members might be restricted in their discussion of individual missions or kinship. Also dependant on nature of online chat channels.

•Both IC and OOC chat open to members (note, OOC chat will ONLY be on the kinship channel).

•RP tavern time to be on local channel ( not broadcast), so as to encourage any others to engage in revelry.

Mission Development (Also able to be performed on the forums)

•Performed on a regular (monthly) basis

•Mission develop conducted at either Kinship Home or Local Outpost*

•At least three members of Leadership Council must attend

•Meet together to flesh out viable quests/missions for the Hildrim members: Individual missions, Multi-step quests that may include one or more members

•Hildrim missions will be both rank specific and player specific

•Go out and plant treasure/end result for end of mission/quest

•Depending on drop ability, Leadership Council will plant end result (treasure, items, clues) at the primary points of the quest(s).

•All raids and other military campaigns will be discussed on an as-needed basis.

• Note: Mission development can also be conducted on the Council Forum on the Hildrim Forums

Mission Briefings and Debriefings (Also able to be performed on the forums)

•Performed on an as needed basis: when new missions are developed and members online to begin them.

•Mission briefings can be conducted over in-game /tell, 'message board' message or face to face at local Outpost. Debriefings must take place face-to-face with the member and a member of the Leadership Council.

•Briefing: Officiant (Leader) will lecture on the background of the mission/quest, then lay out the objective and available information (maps, scouting reports, etc.) for the member. Officiant also commits a timeframe for the mission. Open to a Q&A from the members.

•Debriefing: Member lectures on the steps he took to accomplish or fail in the mission, and what the end result of the mission was. Leader then bestows an item/gift on the member in reward for his success.

• Note:  Briefings and Debriefings may be done on the RP forum instead of in-game.  Transcripts/write-ups of Briefings and Debriefings should be placed in the RP forums even if conducted in-game.

Council of Fire (Leadership) Meetings (Also able to be performed on the forums)

•Performed on a regular (bi or tri-monthly basis)

•All formal Council meetings are conducted at the Kinship Home

•Leader presides, Heir and Elders strongly encouraged to attend

•Administrative meeting to discuss a "state of the kinship"

•Ranging from member status, perception of kinship to others, approach of new allies, financial and assets rundown
